DANCES
Our club performs both Schuhplattler and specialty figure dances from Bavaria and Austria. Many of our dances were influenced by occupations, immigrants to the area, and the royal court.

YOUTH GROUP

As a family club, it is important to keep our children active and engaged. Our youth particiapte in all of our activities (plus a few designed just for them!).

MUSIC AND SINGING

The music and songs from the heart of Bavaria bring its people to life. It is also a great way to learn the language! Golden Gate Bavarian Club possesses a large library of music. We also play a variety of familiar musical instruments and even some unfamiliar ones- including wooden spoons and tuned cow bells!

Most of our members speak German at some level of proficiency and have extensively traveled throughout Bavaria- joining with other clubs similar to ours- to share the joy of preserving what we hold dear.
